The Rank Foundation’s work is wide ranging and the existing website had accumulated a large amount of content over the years, which had become difficult to navigate and understand. It had also been starting to suffer from some technical issues. A full overhaul of the site was needed, including a full revamp of the overall Rank Foundation branding.
In partnership with Purposeful Marketing, the website’s copy was rewritten and the brand guidelines were completely revamped with a fresh new look. Our task, using those assets as the basis, was then to fully redesign and rebuild the website.
It’s important to the Rank team that they can publish and manage website content themselves – so as always, we integrated user-friendly but powerful editing tools into the standard CMS. Given the relatively large size of the site, we also created a modular, templated system so that admin users can easily create new sections and/or full pages of content by dragging and dropping from a saved library of custom rows and modules.
