Parkhill Joinery is a family-owned, specialist joinery services company based in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. The company has been in business for over 50 years, but hadn’t had a website before – they had always relied on word-of-mouth referrals. The team decided it was time to create one so that they could reach more prospective customers, who may be searching for joinery services online.
Parkhill Joinery is a partner company of Brittin Builders, also based in Hawke’s Bay, for whom we also revamped the business website recently. The brief was to design and create the Parkhill Joinery website with the Brittin Builders website in mind – carefully balancing a sense of partnership between the two businesses, with a sense of individuality for the two brands.
As part of the project, we were also asked to revamp and invigorate the Parkhill Joinery logo – which we were happy to help with too!
We started with the branding aspect, discussing the team’s thoughts and ideas with them. Based on this brief we modernised the logo with a contemporary, stylish font and a refined colour scheme.
We then worked with the team to define and categorise their core services and products, and designed a structure for the website that would allow their customers to easily understand and explore how Parkhill Joinery can help them, with plenty of visual content. The overall design has an appropriate level of similarity with the Brittin Builders website, but has its own stylish & distinct character.
As always, the new website was built using cutting edge tools & techniques, making it fast-loading, secure and fully responsive on mobile devices.
We’re delighted that Parkhill Joinery is now online for the world to see!
